Warehouse Construction in Sharjah

A warehouse is never just four walls and a roof. It is foundations engineered for your racking loads, a steel structure spanning your operations, an electrical supply approved by SEWA, and a fire system certified by Sharjah Civil Defence before you can legally occupy it. Midas delivers all of it under one contract, across 100+ completed projects in Hamriyah Free Zone, SAIF Zone, Sajja and mainland Sharjah.

What we build

Storage and distribution warehouses. Manufacturing facilities with integrated warehousing. Pre-engineered steel buildings. Heavy duty industrial sheds and crane buildings. Ground plus mezzanine warehouses. Extensions to live, operating facilities. Structures are fabricated in house by Midas Metal Industries and erected by our own teams, with civil works and complete MEP fit out delivered by group companies, and fire fighting and fire alarm systems installed by Sharjah Civil Defence approved Midas Electromechanical Contracting [link to midasec.com] so certification is built into the programme rather than bolted on at the end.

PEB or conventional steel

For most warehouses, and especially larger ones, PEB is the cheaper and more suitable option, because the frame is optimised at design stage and both fabrication and erection are faster. Conventional hot rolled steel earns its place when the building has to do more than enclose space. Crane carrying structures are the clearest example: they push PEB cost up by at least 20 percent, and past a certain loading, hot rolled becomes the better engineering answer. We fabricate both, so the recommendation is engineering led.

What it costs

Structure runs AED 1,000 to 1,500 per m2 in 2026, with fire fighting and MEP priced separately to your activity and electrical load. Our warehouse construction cost guide [link to the cost blog post] explains what moves the number and why 2026 prices are climbing.
