Al Sajja is mainland Sharjah rather than a free zone, and that changes the project from the first day. Permits run through Sharjah Municipality, not a free zone authority, and the mix of work is different: heavier industrial plots, workshops, manufacturing units and, frequently, labour accommodation built alongside the facility. Our civil entity, Midas Building Contracting, is a Sharjah Municipality registered contractor, so mainland permits and inspections run under our own registration rather than a third party’s.
What we build in Al Sajja
Manufacturing facilities and workshops. Ground plus mezzanine warehouses, which are common on Sajja plots where floor area matters more than clear height. Labour accommodation and staff facilities built as part of the same contract. Heavy duty yards, crane foundations and load bearing platforms. Full MEP and fire systems through Sharjah Civil Defence approved Midas Electromechanical Contracting [link to midasec.com].
Mainland means Municipality
Free zone experience does not transfer automatically to mainland work. The submission formats differ, the inspection sequence differs, and the SEWA connection process for a mainland industrial plot follows its own path. Being Sharjah Municipality registered means we submit directly, respond to comments directly, and are not waiting on another company’s licence to move your project forward.

The Pan Gulf International Metals Industry facility [link to /project/pan-gulf-international/], a large scale plant for a global metal recycling processor, where in house metal fabrication was central to producing a structure able to withstand the demands of the recycling industry. The Horizons Chemicals facility [link to the Horizons Chemicals project page], delivered for chemical sector operations in Al Sajja.
Currently underway, the Spring-Tech project [link to /project/spring-tech/] is a ground plus mezzanine warehouse with an integrated labour camp facility, delivered across the group with Midas Building Contracting, Midas Electromechanical Contracting and Midas Metal Industries working to one programme.
