Midas EPC Constructs New Logistics Hub for Al Faris Group

Midas EPC is currently undertaking a significant construction project for Al Faris Group, the industry leader and specialist for heavy lifting, heavy transport, and energy solutions with the largest fleet of cranes and heavy equipment in the Middle East. The project involves the construction of a new logistics hub designed to support Al Faris Group’s extensive operations. The hub, located in a strategic Hamriyah Free zone, will encompass a heavy-duty maintenance workshop, a specialized storage area for heavy equipment components, an administrative office complex, a secure parking area for heavy transport vehicles, and essential utilities. This integrated facility will enhance Al Faris Group’s operational efficiency and support its continued growth.

Midas Building Contracting is responsible for constructing the core structures of the logistics hub, including the maintenance workshop, the storage facility, and the office complex. Given the specialized nature of Al Faris Group’s operations, Midas Building Contracting is employing heavy-duty construction techniques to ensure the structures can withstand the demands of heavy equipment maintenance and storage. The construction of specialized foundations and reinforced flooring is a key component of their work.

Midas Electromechanical Contracting is responsible for designing, installing, and commissioning all electrical and mechanical systems within the logistics hub. This includes high-capacity power distribution systems to support heavy machinery within the workshop, specialized lighting systems for maintenance operations, advanced HVAC systems for the office complex, and robust water and wastewater systems. Their expertise in integrating these systems is crucial for the efficient and safe operation of the hub.

This collaborative effort between the different divisions of the Midas Group ensures the efficient and timely delivery of a high-quality, purpose-built logistics hub for Al Faris Group.
