Midas EPC delivered a complete industrial complex for Petrochem Global FZC in Hamriyah Free Zone, Phase 1, Sharjah — a single turnkey package combining a 900 m³ petrochemical tank farm, a warehouse, an office block and the utility buildings that support the client’s refinery operations, completed in 2023.

Project facts
The tank farm defined the engineering on this project: 900 m³ of petrochemical storage concentrated on a 650 m² footprint within the 5,000 m² site, with the buildings adding 1,116 m² of built-up area around it. Petrochemical storage demands foundations, bunding and fire protection designed around the stored product, and steel fabricated and tested to standard. Midas Metal Industries fabricated the structural steel for both the tank farm and the warehouse, while Midas Building Contracting delivered the civil works to a schedule set by the client’s refinery commissioning dates.
Midas Electromechanical Contracting designed, installed and commissioned the complex’s electrical and mechanical systems — power distribution, lighting and HVAC specified for energy efficiency across a facility that runs continuously.
Because engineering, steel and construction sat under one contract, interface risk between the tank package and the buildings never landed on the client — one of the practical advantages of an EPC contract on storage-led projects.
