The construction in Hamriyah Freezone of the expansion project for Roofings Middle East FZC is officially underway, marking a significant milestone in the company’s infrastructure growth. The project involves a comprehensive build-out designed to enhance operational capacity and provide high-quality facilities for the workforce.

Project Overview & Scope

The expansion is a multi-faceted development located in a strategic industrial zone. The scope of work includes:

• Main Structure: A proposed closed shed featuring an integrated G+1 Office space.

• Residential & Utility Blocks: A dedicated Workers’ Block for onsite personnel and a Services Block for operational support.

• Infrastructure: Construction of a security block, fire water tank, utility platform, weighbridge, and holding tanks.

Main Contractor: Midas Building Contracting LLC

Midas Building Contracting has been awarded the main contract. They are responsible for the structural integrity, civil works, and overall project management from the ground up, ensuring the “Closed Shed” and various blocks meet the client’s rigorous specifications.

MEP Scope: Midas Electromechanical Contracting LLC

The Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works are being handled by Midas Electromechanical Contracting. Their scope is critical to the building’s functionality, covering everything from internal wiring and piping to the final SEWA (Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority) power connection, ensuring the facility is fully energized and operational.

Consultant: Deyar Engineering Consultancy

Deyar Engineering Consultancy is overseeing the design and technical compliance of the project. Their role is to ensure that all construction activities align with local regulations and the architectural vision for the expansion.

Current Status

With the site hoarding and project signage now installed, the site has transitioned into the commencement phase. Initial groundworks and mobilization of equipment are the current priorities to prepare for the structural foundation of the industrial shed and the residential blocks.
